  1. LED Monitor

Working on my tiny laptop screen got really old REALLY quickly, so YOU KNOW I upgraded to an LED monitor for work. Since then, I haven't looked back. I also especially love being able to close my laptop and work solely on the monitor when I don't need extra screen space. Get it from Amazon for $249.99.

  2. Laptop Riser

I think this goes without saying that adding a laptop riser was a must with an LED Monitor. More screens equates to less workspace claustrophobia! The space under the riser has also proven to be useful storage space for things like my headphones and other trinkets. Win-win. Get it from Amazon for $16.99.

  3. Noise Cancelling Headphones

Don't get me wrong: I 100% believe in the power of co-working spaces and how it can immensely influence your business, but there are some cons to it like the issue of getting easily distracted or maybe having other members frequently coming up to your desk for a chat. Sometimes, I either am tempted to enter ongoing conversations or I'm distracted by other conversations/ movement happening around me, so I decided that the best solution would be to buy my BOSE headphones. It also serves as a great non-verbal cue to people that you perhaps, don't want to be talked to without having to be rude. It’s also a great tool to laser-focus on a task at hand. Just auto-shuffle your favorite Spotify Focus playlist and you’re golden. Get it from Amazon for $299.00.

  4. USB Charging Station

I started noticing the growing number of USB-chargeable devices I owned, like my iPad Bluetooth keyboard, stylus, and headphones, but I didn't want to have them charging on the floor with the risk of me accidentally stepping on them. That's when I started looking for USB charging stations online and found this really nifty product that has clear plastic dividers for easy organization and emits a blue light when it's in charging mode. The blue light turns off to indicate when your tech is fully charged. Its eye-catching features and design have gotten a lot of attention at my co-working space, and it works really well. I LOVE it and would definitely recommend it to anyone else who has too many gadgets to charge and not enough USB charging outlets! Get it from Amazon for $27.99.

  5. SSD Drive

My MacBook didn't come with a lot of storage, so I knew early on that I'd need to invest in some form of external hard drive for backup storage in addition to my cloud storage. However, I kept running into issues with each external hard drive, so my husband recommended looking into SSDs (Solid State Drive), which are said to be more stable, faster and energy efficient. I've had no problems since I've purchased one (knock on wood), and it's very compact so it easily fits into any bag. Get it from Amazon for $129.00.

  6. iPhone/iPad Stylus

If you knew how much time I'd spend creating Instagram Stories for not just myself, but for each of my social media clients, I'm sure you'd be shocked. Creating Stories on my phone gets old really quickly due to its small screen size. That's when I remembered styluses that I'd see people use on iPads and I thought, "They have to have something compatible with iPhones." However, I really didn't end up using it with my iPhone as often as I thought I would; I've probably used it more for sketching or writing on my iPad. And there is a learning curve when it comes to writing with a stylus, like adjusting to not resting your hand against the screen and ensuring that you place pressure on the point of the stylus when you're drawing or writing anything. This is not to say that the quality of the stylus I purchased was subpar, but it definitely takes time and practice to adjust to it. Get it from Amazon for $66.63.

  7. 'Positive' Pens

My husband bought this for me as part of a birthday gift. Definitely a cute and light addition to your desk setup, and easily can be re-purposed as props for any social content shoots you might have. Get it from Amazon for $8.60

  8. 'BOSS LADY' Name Plate

My husband ALSO bought this for me for my birthday (yes, he’s the best ever), and it sits loud and proud on my desk at Impact Hub. Nothing like a gold name plate to remind you of who you are and all you’re capable of! Get it from Paper Source for $5.95.

  9. Saje Wellness Pocket Farmacy

Dealing with indigestion? Suffering from an annoying headache or just need an easy refresh from the midday slump? This convenient little pack has come through to support me throughout the workday for all of the above and more. I also love the regular ritual of rolling some Peppermint Halo on your palms, rubbing them together and inhaling deeply to clear my sinuses. Get it from Amazon for $59.95

  10. Business Card Holder

I think personal branding comes down to every last detail that one might have with you online and offline, so I bought a gold business card holder for both fashion and function. I somehow always manage to remember to bring that shiny gold holder when I’d typically forget my business cards, and it also adds a little something extra to each first impression I make with a potential client. Get it from Amazon for $13.99

  11. 'Crazy Things' Journal

Even as a self-proclaimed digital marketing maven, I’m still pretty old school about certain things, and that especially applies to how I like to process my thoughts. When it comes to granular tasks linked to deadlines, I’m fine with using web apps like Asana, but I prefer the traditional pen-to-paper method to jot down big dreams and spur-of-the-moment ideas. It also doesn’t hurt to be encouraged to think outside the box every time you stumble upon your journal. Get it from Amazon for $9.99

This list encompasses my most important desk accessories, but I’m always adding more to my list, which you can shop on my Amazon Idea List. What cool products do you rave about and think I should add to this list?
