7 Daily Essentials for 5 Minute Makeup
We all have those late mornings where we only have 5 minutes to do SOMETHING with our faces before we jet out the door. My glam routine normally takes 25 minutes, but when in a rush, I immediately go for these 7 products to take care of the essentials.

The first step of my daily routine is to ALWAYS apply my Cetaphil Oil Control Moisturizer (3) because I have dry skin and makeup does not apply as smoothly without it. It also has SPF protection, which is so necessary when you live in sunny Santa Barbara. Skip the foundation; ain't nobody got time for that. I go straight for my Revlon PhotoReady Concealer (5) to cover up acne, even out skin tone, and cover up dark circles by mixing it with a little moisturizer so it applies smoother under the eye. I then apply my Revlon PhotoReady Translucent Finisher (1) to mattify my face and ensure that all that effort I invested stays put for the whole day. After, I go to my Too Faced Cocoa Contour (2) to add shadows and highlights to my cheeks and temples in order to have some definition.

Now, to get rid of the sleep deprivation that is just written ALL OVER them eyes. My Ulta lash curler (7) gets the job done with lifting those Asian lashes that love to shoot straight out instead of curl up. I coat both the top and bottom lashes with Maybelline Pumped Up Colossal Mascara (4), which to my surprise, really adds length, volume and thickness. It definitely helps to use a business card during application so that the mascara doesn't get all over your eyelid. Finally, I believe it's absolutely imperative to define those brows or fill them in at least because they really frame your eyes and face. I have sparse brows, so I can't leave the house without using the Katie B Cosmetics Browtastic Duo Brow Powder (6). It features two shades for a more natural look; the darker powder is for filling in the ends up to the 3/4 point of your brows closest to the middle of your face. The lighter powder helps with blending in the rest and filling in the last 1/4 part of your brows towards the middle of your face.
We're done! Below I've created a list of links to all the products featured in this blog post for your reference. I've been using some of these products for years and would recommend them to everyone. However, I'm always open to trying out new products, and I typically don't buy anything without having read or watched a YouTube review.
Do you guys have any favorite beauty products that you swear by?
Comment below with your name, favorite product, and reasons why, and I'll do a product review with a shout out to the person that recommended it. I'd really love to hear your input and want to get to know my readers better!
