For those of you who don't know me personally, I've always been a heels and booties type of girl. Rarely would you ever find me donning a pair of sneaks and sports gear on the daily, but this athleisure trend has really been growing on me. I had been on a mission to find the perfect pair of athletic leggings for a while, hitting up the expected retailers like Nike or Reebok, but found myself quickly disappointed with the quality or fit.
I then caught whiff of the steadily growing internet craze surrounding Girlfriend Collective. In case you haven't heard, they're a sustainably/ ethically produced luxury activewear line that decided to spread the word of their new legging launch by simply giving out a pair of free leggings. All they required was an email address and the cost of shipping ($20 for me), so I was like oh well, what the hey. Ever since I got my hands (or legs?) on a pair, I've been trying to find any reason to wear them out. They're ridiculously soft considering they're made out of 25 recycled water bottles (um, what?!), thick enough but not uncomfortable, and they always bounce back to their original fit.
I'm so glad I finally had a chance to shoot a look with these today, because I really wanted to share this amazing deal with you guys. If you guys want to get in on a free pair of AH-MAZING leggings AND support a new, eco-friendly line, click here to sign up! But FYI, their campaign is ending January 2017, so I'd get in on the offer soon if I were you.
