Black and Blue

With consistently low temps in So-Cal, layering is key to mixing up your everyday looks while still keeping warm. I layered this v-neck dress over a black turtleneck, threw on a wool coat, and added some shape to the overall silhouette with a boot-cut jean. I love the play on the combination of black and blue, because it adds some interest and dimension to the look, as opposed to a completely black outfit which would need different textures to make the look pop.

I really loved this cool weather in the beginning, but now I'm so ready for the easy breezy 75 degree temps we know so well. I mean... I'm practically layering dresses over everything I wear these days... can you tell I'm over it? 😅
